Quality Inspector

Location: Derby

Type: Permanent

Salary: Circa £18 per hour

EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a precision engineering company located in Derby, working on a permanent basis. Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK-based, and DBS checks will be required. Please note that we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your Responsibilities:

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for:

• Inspecting machined and fabricated safety-critical components
• Working with a wide range of handheld measuring equipment
• Operating CMM equipment

Successful Applicants Must Be Able To Demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a precision engineering environment in a quality role
• Experience carrying out "first off" inspections using manual equipment
• Ability to operate CMM machines
• Confidence in analyzing and recording results to make appropriate quality decisions
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workloads effectively
