The Job People are seeking Fabrication Quality Inspectors for a busy manufacturing site in Coventry. The role requires QA inspection experience, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to read technical drawings. You will use our in-house systems to report findings and support continuous improvement.

Job description

The Job People are looking for Fabrication Quality Inspectors to join a busy manufacturing site in Coventry for long term work.

We require candidates with previous QA Inspection experience, with a keen eye for detail and willingness to learn new skills.

Must be able to read & understand English.

Must be able to read technical drawings and check measurements within set tolerances and use in-house computer systems for reporting.

We are looking for hardworking, enthusiastic colleagues who are willing to work long term with the opportunity to gain a full-time contract.

Self-Motivated, Friendly.

Able to effectively communicate with managers and colleagues

Have a 'can-do' attitude and willing to learn new skills.

This is a full time role - we do not have any part time roles.

Shift Hours as a Quality Inspector in Coventry:

• Fixed day shift
• 8 hours per day
• 08.30 - 16.45
• Fixed PM Shift
• 16.00 - 02.00 Monday to Friday
• Some shifts may start earlier or finish later due to the demands of the business.
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend support required in busy periods
• Long term work
• Opportunity to go permanent after a qualifying period.

Pay Rates for a Quality Inspector:

• £14.25 per hour days
• PM Shift salary TBC
• Overtime paid after 37.5 hours
• x1.5 and x2 rate for weekend working
• Pay increases available for review

Duties as a Quality Inspector in Coventry:

• Support the site with ensuring to carry out thorough and accurate QA on parts and technical drawings.
• Ensuring accuracy make sure no mistakes are made.
• Accurately use various tools.
• Musty be able to count and work out measurements in MM, CM and Inches.
• Must be able to read drawings and diagrams and ensure within required tolerances
• Report and support to resolve any issues
• Enter findings into an in-house computer system.
• Full training provided.
• General duties as and when required.
