Job Title: Quality Inspector

Our client is a leading, well-established, and respected manufacturing business. Due to increased work demand, they are looking for a Quality Inspector.

Responsibilities:

1. Inspect parts from the machine shop (internal) and suppliers (external) to ensure they meet drawings.
2. Raise Inspection Reports when a part does not meet specifications and follow up on issues.
3. Perform inspections according to factory priorities.
4. Inspect first-offs from the machine shop.
5. Complete Inspection Reports with detailed information.
6. Inform suppliers if a part is incorrect.
7. Support assembly department inspections during night shifts as required.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Engineering background with the ability to read technical drawings.
2. Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers.
3. Experience operating and programming CMM machines is an advantage.
