Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings.

• Candidates should be able to inspect components visually and dimensionally.

Job description

The basics:

• Job Title: Quality Inspector
• Location: near Beeston
• Hours: Monday to Friday mornings, afternoons and nights. (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am)
• Pay: £15 to £17 per hour plus shift allowance + overtime = earnings of £38,000 and upwards.
• Contracted hours per week: 39hrs
• Overtime available at: 1.5 Mon to Sat and double time on Sunday.
• Holidays/Benefits: 32 days holidays, Pension, Free onsite parking.

Overview:

We now require a Quality Inspector to join the team. You will be tasked to inspect metal components using hand tools such as verniers, callipers, depth/height gauges.

Key responsibilities of the Quality Inspector role:

• Visually and dimensionally inspect metal precision engineered components
• The ideal candidate / Quality Inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
• Must have previous experience using handheld measuring tools such as verniers, callipers etc.
• Experience reading engineering drawings
• Commutable from: Beeston, Nottingham and surrounding areas.
