Job summary

Nicholas Associates is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team near Lichfield. You will inspect metal components using hand tools and read engineering drawings.

Hours are Mon-Thu 7:30-16:30 and Fri 7:30-12:00, with overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekends and x2 Sunday. Benefits include 32 days holidays, pension, and free onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Experience using handheld measuring tools such as verniers and callipers.
• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Attention to dimensional accuracy and quality standards.

The basics

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: near Lichfield

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm and Fridays 7:30am to 12:00

Pay: £15 to £17 per hour plus overtime = earnings of £35,000 and upwards.

Contracted hours per week: 39hrs

Overtime available at x1.33 Mon-Fri, x1.5 Saturday and x2 Sunday

Holidays/Benefits: 32 days holidays, Pension, Free onsite parking.

We now require a Quality Inspector to join the team. You will be tasked to inspect metal components using hand tools such as verniers, callipers, depth/height gauges.

Key responsibilities of the Quality Inspector role

• Visually and dimensionally inspect metal precision engineered components


• Must have previous experience using handheld measuring tools such as verniers, callipers etc.
