Job summary

SGS College invites applications for Head of Quality & Intervention within the Quality, Teaching and Learning team. Based at any campus with weekly travel between sites, you will lead the College’s quality cycle and drive improvements in teaching, learning and learner outcomes.

The role requires a teaching qualification, strong analytical skills and experience in FE leadership; you will analyse data, report on performance and support curriculum leaders to raise standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification, with a recognised teaching qualification.
• Continued professional development in education leadership or quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery and coordination of the College’s quality cycle, including self-assessment and quality improvement planning.
• Monitor curriculum performance across attendance, retention, achievement and learner experience.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks and areas for intervention.
• Lead improvement activity in underperforming curriculum areas with action plans and milestones.
• Support curriculum leaders to strengthen teaching, learning, and learner outcomes.
• Provide updates and analysis on performance and inspection readiness.
