Job summary

Vested Talent is seeking a hands-on Quality/Continuous Improvement engineer to join a specialist manufacturing site in the Leeds area. You will lead CI efforts, analyze data, and work across Production, Engineering and Quality teams to reduce defects and improve process capability.

The role emphasizes root-cause investigations, process enhancements and compliance with quality systems (ISO 13485). You will drive improvements on the shop floor and contribute to ensuring on-time batch release and

Qualifications

3+ years in quality, manufacturing engineering or continuous improvement.
Background in medical devices or regulated environments is preferred.
Experience with SPC, Minitab or equivalent statistical tools.

Responsibilities

Lead root-cause investigations using structured CI methodologies
Identify and address operational inefficiencies across the site
Drive improvements to reduce defects, scrap and COPQ
Analyse manufacturing and quality data to identify trends and opportunities
Prepare and present data and improvement findings to stakeholders
Support site-wide quality improvement initiatives
Maintain internal quality documentation and SOPs
Support audit activities and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
Collaborate with Production and Engineering on the shop floor to implement improvements
Support customer issue resolution and OTIF performance
