Job summary

Medical Engineers Recruitment is seeking a Quality Improvement Engineer in Leeds to fix problems at source on the shop floor, translating data into action and turning root-cause investigations into lasting fixes.

You will bridge Quality and Production, lead cross-functional teams, support IQ/OQ/PQ validations, and strengthen the QMS as the business scales in the medical device sector. 3+ years in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause investigations using 8D, DMAIC and 5 Whys

• Work hands-on with production teams to cut defects, scrap and rework
• Influence across Production, Engineering and Quality
• Support validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and strengthen the QMS as the business scales

We're working with a growing precision manufacturing business in Leeds, supplying into the medical device sector, looking for a Quality Improvement Engineer who genuinely wants to be where the machines are. You'll be the bridge between Quality and Production: translating data into action, and turning root cause investigations into real, lasting fixes on the shop floor.

You’ll get to:
