Job summary

White Label Recruitment Ltd is hiring a Quality Engineer for a site-based manufacturing role. You’ll own continuous improvement projects, analyse customer quality data and translate findings into clear priorities across production and the supply chain.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you’ll lead root cause investigations, drive corrective actions, maintain the Quality Management System and collaborate with Production, Technical and Supply Chain teams to reduce defects.

Qualifications

• Experience within manufacturing or a production environment.
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence analysing quality data and identifying meaningful trends.
• Good Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience of corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• An understanding of Quality Management Systems.
• The communication skills to work effectively across different departments.

Responsibilities

• Analyse defect, rework, customer return and complaint data to identify trends.
• Lead root cause investigations into recurring quality problems.
• Own and progress continuous improvement projects.
• Lead the fortnightly continuous improvement activity and keep actions moving.
• Work with Production, Technical and Supply Chain teams to identify and implement improvements.
• Develop corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects, rework and warranty issues.
• Support and maintain the Quality Management System.
• Review audit findings, identify repeat issues and help drive improvements.
• Produce quality reports and communicate trends, risks and actions to management.
• Support quality planning and improvements across the production process.
