Job summary

  • Manage and resolve customer complaints.
  • Facilitate non-conformance review meetings and support corrective actions.
  • Support supplier approvals, supplier audits and supplier development activities.
  • Investigate product quality issues and component failures.
  • Prepare and review inspection reports and quality documentation.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the Integrated Management System.
  • Conduct internal audits and support ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 compliance.
  • Promote strong quality standards across production and engineering teams.

Quality Engineer

A well-established engineering and manufacturing business supported by a global organisation is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to join its Quality team in Bradford. The business supplies engineered products to customers around the world and continues to invest heavily in improving quality systems, supplier performance and manufacturing processes. This Quality Engineer role will play an important part in strengthening quality across the operation — investigating issues, improving systems and working closely with suppliers and internal teams to drive long-term improvements.

This is a varied position where the Quality Engineer will be involved in both hands‑on problem solving and wider quality system development.

The Role

The Quality Engineer will support the company’s quality systems while working closely with production, engineering and suppliers to investigate issues and implement improvements. The role combines technical problem solving with quality system development, giving the Quality Engineer broad exposure across the manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • HND, Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience
  • Knowledge of quality tools and lean manufacturing principles
  • Understanding of ISO9001 (ISO14001 / ISO45001 beneficial)
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience in investigating non‑conformances and root cause analysis
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
