Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quality Manager in a Melton Mowbray-based manufacturing business. The role covers Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental standards and carries a circa £45,000+ salary. It emphasizes ISO 9001 compliance and hands-on leadership in a small, growing team.

You will manage quality systems, lead audits, and drive improvements using data to identify trends and actions. NEBOSH certificate is required, with Six Sigma familiarity beneficial.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience is essential.
• Experience using data and statistics to solve problems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or similar methodologies would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and improving Quality systems, procedures and documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards and certification requirements.
• Identifying workplace hazards and implementing measures to improve employee safety.
• Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Managing internal and external quality issues and implementing effective countermeasures.
• Promoting a strong quality culture through Quality Assurance and continuous improvement tools.
• Monitoring HSE performance and using data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting internal and external audits and ensuring findings are addressed effectively.
