Job summary

Spire Claremont Hospital in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Quality and Governance Manager to lead the hospital's quality and governance agenda. You will work closely with senior leadership to drive clinical excellence, improve patient experience, and ensure compliance with CQC and JAG standards.

The role requires senior-level experience in healthcare governance, experience in clinical audits and Root Cause Analysis, and PSIRF training.

Qualifications

• Registered with NMC or HCPC is desirable.
• Experience in quality improvement or clinical governance.
• Senior-level experience in healthcare governance.
• Experience of undertaking clinical audits and Root Cause Analysis.
• Recent PSIRF training.
• Quality Improvement (QI) or Project Management qualification/training.
• Computer literacy with Excel and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Clinical Governance Framework across the hospital and drive clinical excellence.
• Display strong clinical leadership and promote excellent customer service.
• Lead improvements to patient experience using information available within Spire.
• Ensure robust governance framework complies with legislation and regulatory standards (CQC, JAG).
• Oversee incident reporting systems and ensure issues are addressed thoroughly.
• Provide direction to staff on quality and governance initiatives.
• Manage OSH policies and governance-related procedures.
