Job summary

Pilgrims Europe is seeking a Senior Quality and Food Safety Manager to lead the Technical Team in Greater London. You will uphold the highest standards, oversee audits, and drive corrective actions, with a focus on customer specifications and internal KPIs.

You will mentor staff, ensure robust QA processes, and work closely with internal departments and external partners to sustain a culture of excellence in meat processing and safety.

Qualifications

• BSc in a food-related subject or science with relevant experience.
• Food Safety Level 4 certification.
• Lead Auditor qualification.

Responsibilities

• Mentor staff in quality and food safety across departments.
• Lead site audits and respond to customer and regulatory visits.
• Investigate non-conformances with root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Develop and sustain site Quality and Food Safety objectives.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers on quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in technical processes.
