Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the Technical function at our Corsham site. You will be the technical ambassador, ensuring food safety, quality, compliance and customer satisfaction while driving continuous improvement and strong client relationships.

You will oversee HACCP/TACCP, traceability, and food integrity programmes, lead audits, and manage a skilled technical team in a fast-paced meat processing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
• Proven technical leadership in chilled food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP, Food Safety and customer standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead Food Safety, Quality, Hygiene, and Technical functions.
• Maintain BRC accreditation and customer approvals; audit-ready.
• Drive proactive food safety and quality culture across the business.
