Job summary

MBDA is seeking a Quality Excellence professional to lead proactive risk mitigation and ensure zero-defect product launches. You will coach cross-functional teams on DFMEA and PFMEA, drive design-to-production linkage, and advance DMAIC-driven improvements across the product lifecycle.

You will bridge design and manufacturing, implement robust control plans, and ensure compliance with EN9100, ISO 9001 and other defence standards, shaping a culture of Quality First.

Qualifications

Experience in a mission-critical, regulated sector (Defence, Aerospace or Automotive).
Proven track record leading cross-functional teams through phase-gate APQP/AS9145.
Strong knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans and design-to-manufacture handover.

Responsibilities

Lead risk mitigation workshops and coach teams on DFMEA/PFMEA best practices.
Bridge design, manufacturing and supply chain to ensure zero-defect launches.
Guide transfer of Special Characteristics into robust Control Plans.
Champion DMAIC cycles to improve yields and reduce variation.
