JOB- Quality Manager

LOCATION- Slough

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £65,000-£75,000 plus other benefits

My client is seeking a Quality Manager to join a market-leading manufacturer in the Slough area. The main duties include ensuring the product is fit for purpose and complies with both internal and external requirements, as well as monitoring and advising on the performance of the QMS through data analysis and reporting against standards.

The ideal attributes for the Quality Manager:

• At least 3 years of experience in the Manufacturing industry (experience in Automotive, FMCG, or Medical sectors is beneficial)
• An energetic individual committed to delivering quality work under pressure with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the business
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good knowledge of problem-solving techniques such as PFMEA, Control Plans, RCA, and 8D
• A keen problem solver with leadership qualities and a focus on detail
• A positive attitude towards continuous improvement and change

The responsibilities of the Quality Manager role include:

• Reporting the performance of the QMS and KPIs to top management
• Maintaining all processes within the QMS
• Conducting internal quality audits
• Driving prevention of quality issues through proactive collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, Production Engineering, and Production
• Analyzing data confidently to make informed decisions
• Monitoring and reporting quality KPIs across manufacturing to identify risks and areas for improvement, collaborating with the production engineering team to prioritize actions
• Obtaining certification and testing quotations for NPD projects
• Liaising with key customers to manage expectations regarding quality, design, manufacturing, and testing
