Red Bull Powertrains has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineering Team Leader, where you will play a key role in guiding and supporting our dynamic Quality Engineering team. You will lead internal quality initiatives, driving strategic improvements to enhance standards and processes.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy aligned with organisational goals and industry standards for the Quality Engineering team.
  2. Collaborate closely with department leads to integrate quality principles into manufacturing and assembly processes, ensuring excellence across operations.
  3. Assess team performance, identify priorities, and allocate resources effectively to optimise productivity.
  4. Act as the main contact for internal quality escalations, addressing issues promptly and implementing resolutions.
  5. Shape team objectives, providing coaching and development opportunities to foster growth.
  6. Utilise advanced analytical techniques to monitor performance metrics, driving continuous improvement and informing strategic decisions.

Candidates should have a degree in engineering or extensive relevant experience, with proficiency in preventive quality tools such as DFM, SPC, MSA, FMEA, and Control Plans. Deep expertise in problem-solving methodologies like 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, and Is-Is Not is essential. A strong mechanical background and understanding of metrology principles are also required, along with leadership skills.
