Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a Quality Advisor / Quality Engineer on behalf of a leading contractor to support a flagship energy storage infrastructure project in North Wales. The role is a 12-month, site-based assignment with a sharp focus on completing major works, quality close-out, and handover to the end client, National Grid.

Qualifications

• Direct, proven National Grid experience on National Grid schemes.
• Track record driving quality close-out on major civil/energy projects.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ITPs, material testing, and QA/QC documentation.
• Strong communication skills with site engineers, managers and clients.
• Willingness to be site-based full-time in North Wales.

Responsibilities

• Quality Close-Out and Handover: drive outstanding records and ITP completions through to final closure.
• National Grid Compliance: ensure QA documentation and handover files meet NG standards.
• Site Assurance and Records: verify works align with quality plans at site.
• Defect Management and Auditing: identify non-conformances and drive timely closures.
• Supply Chain and Client Interface: act as point of contact for partners and client representatives.
