Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Quality Engineer for its Wrexham operation in North Wales. The role focuses on maintaining the QMS, driving quality improvements, and ensuring compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree or proven Quality Engineer experience, with training in SPC, PPAP and CAPA. Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills are essential to succeed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent, or proven hands-on Quality Engineer experience.
• Training in recognised quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, PPAP, CAPA).
• Excellent communication, documentation and organisational skills.
• Proactive, analytical approach to continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Drive and improve the QMS aligned to AS9100 and customer requirements.
• Maintain quality procedures, work instructions and documentation including calibration status.
• Lead internal and external audits and support NADCAP/special process audits.
• Tackle non-conformances with structured root cause investigations (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA).
• Review drawings and quality documents; support APQP and PPAP submissions.
