Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Quality Engineer (Inside IR35) to support LTQRs on major nuclear and defence construction projects in the Midlands. You will review, verify and manage non-technical LTQR aspects, ensuring documentation and certification meet ONR Licence Condition 6 requirements.

You will work with contractor teams to check LTQRs, use Teamcenter EDRMS for findings, and assist Quality Leads and Project Managers in maintaining compliance with quality and records management standards and

Qualifications

• Experience with LTQRs in nuclear/defence projects.
• Knowledge of ONR Nuclear Licence Condition 6.
• Familiarity with EDRMS/Teamcenter for records management.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and verifying non-technical aspects of LTQRs submitted by project suppliers.
• Supporting contractor teams by checking LTQRs, identifying issues, and recording findings within the Teamcenter EDRMS.
• Assisting Quality Management Leads and Project Managers in maintaining compliance with quality and records management requirements.
• Monitoring and reporting LTQR performance using established reporting tools and processes.
• Defining records management requirements for contractors and supporting ongoing performance reviews.

Role - Quality engineer (Inside IR35)

Location - Midlands

The Quality Engineer will work within nuclear and defence Life time Quality records supporting the management and assurance of Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs on major nuclear and defence construction projects and sign off plays a key role in ensuring that document, records, authority, and certification arrangements meet ONR Nuclear Licence Condition 6 requirements for LTQRs.
