Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Quality Engineer (Inside IR35) to support Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs) on major nuclear and defence projects in the Midlands. You will review LTQR submissions, ensure non-technical compliance, and assist teams in maintaining documentation and records in Teamcenter EDRMS, with a focus on quality assurance and regulatory alignment.

The role requires nuclear/defence experience and a practical approach to governance, documentation integrity, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience within Nuclear/Defence
• Familiar with LTQRs and EDRMS workflows
• Strong documentation and QA mindset

Responsibilities

• Review LTQR submissions and verify non-technical aspects
• Support contractor teams by checking LTQRs and recording findings in Teamcenter EDRMS
• Assist Quality Management Leads in maintaining compliance with quality and records management requirements
• Monitor LTQR performance using established reporting tools
• Define records management requirements for contractors and support ongoing performance reviews
• Follow quality department policies, procedures and specifications to process and manage records

• Reviewingandverifyingnon-technicalaspectsofLTQRssubmittedbyprojectsuppliers.
• SupportingcontractorteamsbycheckingLTQRs,identifyingissues,andrecordingfindingswithintheTeamcenterElectronicDocumentandRecordsManagementSystem(EDRMS).
• AssistingQualityManagementLeadsandProjectManagersinmaintainingcompliancewithqualityandrecordsmanagementrequirements.
• MonitoringandreportingLTQRperformanceusingestablishedreportingtoolsandprocesses.
• Definingrecordsmanagementrequirementsforcontractorsandsupportingongoingperformancereviews.
