Job summary

Owen Daniels Consultancy is assisting a leading manufacturing business in Runcorn to recruit a Contract Quality Engineer for an initial 3-month engagement. The role involves supporting internal audit recovery, PFMEA/Control Plan updates and customer requalification submissions.

The ideal candidate will hold IATF 16949 Internal Auditor certification and have hands-on experience with PFMEA, Control Plans and AIAG/VDA Core Tools within a manufacturing/ automotive setting.

Qualifications

• IATF 16949 Internal Auditor certification from a recognised body.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans and AIAG/VDA Core Tools.
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and internal auditing.
• Ability to work independently and deliver against defined deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Complete outstanding internal audits and update audit documentation.
• Review and update existing PFMEAs and Control Plans.
• Support the review and approval of revised quality documentation.
• Prepare and submit a customer annual requalification package.
• Support corrective actions and follow-up activities.
• Provide a full handover of completed activities and outstanding actions.

Contract Quality Engineer 3 Month Contract Outside IR35 Competitive Rate Runcorn, Cheshire

Owen Daniels Consultancy are working with a leading manufacturing business who are seeking an experienced Contract Quality Engineer to join their team on an initial 3-month contract.

The successful candidate will support the recovery of the internal audit programme, review PFMEAs and Control Plans, and manage a customer requalification submission.

Contract Quality Engineer – Key Responsibilities:

• Complete outstanding internal audits and update audit documentation.
• Review and update existing PFMEAs and Control Plans.
• Support the review and approval of revised quality documentation.
• Prepare and submit a customer annual requalification package.
• Support corrective actions and follow-up activities.

Contract Quality Engineer – Requirements:
