Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL seeks a Quality Engineer to implementQA and QC processes at an operational level within a live MOD facility in the Plymouth area.

You will develop inspection procedures, conduct root-cause analyses, support audits, and ensure materials meet specifications. BPSS security clearance is required; the process may take up to 8 weeks.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified operator and/or Graduate.
• Quality related qualifications and Industry experience ie ISO.
• Experience of similar role, in relevant sector (ie Nuclear and Defence).
• CSCS - Green labourer.
• Strong understanding of quality principles, inspection methods, and testing.
• Familiarity with quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, root cause analysis).
• Knowledge of relevant standards (ISO 9001, industry-specific).
• Basic statistical and data analysis skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Job description

A Quality Engineer focuses on implementing quality assurance and quality control processes at the operational level. They work closely with production or project teams to ensure products or services meet defined quality standards.

Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required. Please note that this process can take up to 8 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:
