Job purpose:
  • Quality representative for business NPI programmes - ensure NPI deliverables are met for each tollgate.
  • Facilitate business internal & external audit programme - help Audit finding Owners resolve reported issues.
  • Quality representative for all operational issues in production areas.
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities & lead/facilitate solutions to problems identified.
Role and Responsibilities include:
  • Identify gaps in business processes and implement necessary changes to reflect current practices that comply with internal, customer, or certification requirements. Identify internal process improvements & implement them.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations using D methodology, Fishbone/Ishikawa diagrams.
  • Lead FMEA exercises to identify & mitigate potential risks to the business.
  • Analyze manufacturing non-conformance data to identify trends.
  • Provide innovative solutions and suggestions to drive improvements within manufacturing areas.
  • Support and guide manufacturing teams and quality staff on all quality-related matters.
  • Support and conduct internal audits – both product and process.
  • Monitor and escalate internal product quality issues as needed, especially if actions are delayed or issues are unresolved.
  • Mentor QC Contractors to ensure understanding of requirements.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and other departments on Quality Assurance & Control.
  • Communicate effectively with departmental staff & internal customers.
  • Deliver internal training as defined by the quality organization.
  • Maintain up-to-date personal Competency Records.
Wanted profile:

Education/qualifications/experience:

  • Degree in Engineering or a relevant subject.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or a minimum of - years facilitating multi-disciplinary teams in process improvement activities.
