Job summary

Pertemps Redditch Industrial is recruiting a Quality Engineer for a leading manufacturer of small pressings, stampings and wire forms in the Redditch area. The role is on days, Monday to Friday, with a salary up to £45k and a strong quality focus.

You will identify quality issues, lead 8D investigations, apply problem-solving methods and support ISO9001, AS9100 and NADCAP compliance across the production and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as a quality engineer in manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret drawings and customer specs.
• Proficient in root cause analysis methods (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys).

Responsibilities

• Identify quality issues and opportunities for defect prevention.
• Lead internal 8D investigations for non-conformances.
• Apply 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, and mistake proofing to defects.
• Work with production and engineering to implement improvements and verify actions.
• Support NADCAP heat treatment compliance and audits.
