TipTopJob is recruiting a STA/Quality Engineer in Daventry to support quality management across supplier and internal activities. The role focuses on resolving quality issues, root cause analysis using 8D, and ensuring compliance with TS16949/ISO9001, ISO14001, and related standards.

Qualifications

Experience in Quality Assurance roles.
Background in manufacturing quality systems.

Responsibilities

Resolve quality issues with internal and external stakeholders.
Lead defect root-cause analysis using 8D methodology.
Audit the Business Management System (BMS) for TS16949/ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001/ISO45001.
Assist with product and process audits.

STA/Quality Engineer

The ROLE

Due to continued expansion an opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to become an integral part of our Clients team. The Quality/Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer (STA Engineer) will be responsible for supporting the management on all quality related issues. The minutia of the role includes:

Working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues
Defect root cause analysis : using Global 8D process
Work to and audit the BMS (Business Management System) including TS16949/ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 or ISO45001
Assist with product and process audits

The CANDIDATE

The right Quality Engineer/STA Engineer candidate will possess:

Experience of working in Quality Assurance
Good academic background
Sis Sigma skills
APQP, PPAP and FEMA practical experience
TS16949 and ISO9000 knowledge
Understanding of ISO14001, OHSAS18001, ISO45001
