Job summary

Travail-Employment-Group has an exciting Quality Engineer role in a modern Rotherham manufacturing facility. The position offers a £40,000 per annum, permanent contract with 22 days’ leave rising to 35, private healthcare, a pension, and a monthly bonus scheme.

You will manage NCR/CAPA processes, support ISO 9001 audits, and work with production, engineering and purchasing to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous quality experience in automotive, aerospace or medical industries or in heat treatment/foundry/castings environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, investigate quality issues and coordinate CAPA actions.
• Assist with internal, customer and external quality audits, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance.
• Liaise with production, engineering and purchasing to resolve quality concerns and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare and distribute quality documentation packs, including inspection reports and certificates.
• Monitor product quality throughout the casting process and support root cause analysis.
• Process and manage product concession requests for non-conforming castings.

Due to securing multiple new contracts, our client based within a state of the art modern manufacturing facility in Rotherham is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer on a full time permanent basis. Responsibilities

• Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, investigating quality issues and coordinating corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Assist with internal, customer, and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and company quality standards.
• Liaise with production, engineering, and purchasing departments to resolve quality concerns and drive continuous process improvements.
• Prepare and distribute quality documentation packs, including inspection reports, material certificates, and compliance documentation for customers.
• Monitor product quality throughout the casting process, supporting root cause analysis and ensuring products met customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Process and manage product concession requests for non-conforming castings, ensuring all approvals were obtained before release.

This role would suit someone who has previous Quality experience working within the automotive, aerospace or medical industry or within a heat treatment, foundry, steelworks or castings environment.
