Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group in Kendal is seeking an enthusiastic Quality Engineer to join their team. With over 170 years of heritage and expertise in engineering and manufacturing, you'll maintain the company's quality culture and business management system aligned with ISO 9001 standards.

The role involves supporting audits, managing MRB activities, and analysing data to boost quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality role within manufacturing.
• Can-do attitude and reliability.
• Not essential - ISO 9001 internal auditor experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop Business Management System in line with ISO 9001.
• Lead and support product, process and supplier audits.
• Drive product and process improvement.
• Manage Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
• Conduct MSA and process capability studies.
• Analyse data to improve quality and performance.
• Support customer complaint investigations and corrective actions.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Quality Engineer to join our Kendal team and play a key role in maintaining and strengthening our quality culture.

What you'll do

• Maintain and develop our Business Management System in line with ISO 9001
• Lead and support product, process and supplier audits
• Drive product and process improvement

• Analyse data to improve quality and performance
• Support customer complaint investigations and corrective actions

What we're looking for

• We're looking for a positive, reliable team player with a can-do attitude and a genuine commitment to quality. Ideally, you'll have experience in a quality role within manufacturing,
• Not essential- HNC in Engineering (or equivalent experience) and ISO 9001 internal auditor experience.
