Job summary

Doncasters is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to maintain and improve quality across our manufacturing facility in the UK. You will work with internal teams, suppliers and customers to resolve issues and drive corrective actions.

You will champion right-first-time manufacturing, lead audits, manage non-conformances, and help ensure products meet customer, regulatory and company requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree / HND / HNC or equivalent manufacturing experience
• Lead Auditor / Internal audit trained desired
• Certified core tools (MSA, SPC, PPAP, APQP, FMEA)
• Highly motivated, a flexible and reliable individual with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage quality issues across manufacturing, including internal, supplier, customer, and warranty concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues by identifying root causes and implementing sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
• Support customers and stakeholders by managing complaints, providing technical support, and working collaboratively to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain quality standards and documentation, ensuring control plans, specifications, work instructions, and processes are effectively implemented and controlled.
• Lead audits and continuous improvement, managing non-conformances, verifying corrective actions, and identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and reduce quality costs.
• Champion a strong quality culture across the business, promoting right-first-time manufacturing and taking appropriate action to protect product quality and safety, including stopping production where necessary.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Quality Engineer to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving quality standards across our manufacturing facility.
