Job summary

Dropp.UK is recruiting a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our growing manufacturing team in the UK. You will drive continual improvement, investigate non-conformances and monitor KPIs across the business. The ideal candidate will be well organised, proactive and customer focused, with strong skills in APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and AS9100.

Proficiency in Excel and integrity in audits is essential. This full-time, permanent role offers the chance to work with internal teams, customers and suppliers

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing quality engineering in a similar environment.
• Proven track record with APQP, PPAP and PFMEA.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and quality management systems.
• Strong Excel skills and IT proficiency.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Compile and review FAIRs using Net-Inspect.
• Carry out containment activities when required.
• Raise, review and submit PPAPs per customer requirements.
• Conduct internal and external audits and support third-party audits.
• Control and maintain standards, data cards and manufacturing sequences.
• Manage and monitor KPIs.
• Investigate non-conformances and drive continual improvement.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality needs are met.

Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manufacturing Quality Engineer / Quality Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, customers and the wider supply chain to drive continual improvement, investigate non-conformances and monitor key performance indicators across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-focused Quality or Manufacturing Engineer looking to play an important role within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and review FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports), including the use of Net-Inspect.
• Carry out containment activities where required.
• Raise, review and submit PPAPs in line with individual customer requirements.
• Conduct internal and external audits, as well as supporting and hosting customer and third-party audits.
• Control and maintain required standards, data cards and manufacturing sequences.
• Manage and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Investigate non-conformances and support continual improvement across the business.
• Work closely with customers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure quality requirements are met.
