The basics

Job Title: Quality Engineer - Automotive department

Salary: Up to £38000

Location: Caerphilly

Hours: Monday to Thursday - 8am-4:30pm and Fridays 8am to 1pm (start times can flex to 7am or 9am start times)

Contracted hours: 40 per week

Overview:

Working for a large manufacturing business that have plants across the globe we now require a Quality Engineer to join the business to ensure quality procedures for the business are maintained to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate / Quality Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

-Manufacturing and Quality experience in a fabrication, machining or special process background.

-Knowledge of common inspection equipment used in fabrication and machining.

-Good understanding of ISO9001:2015; TS16949:2016 - beneficial

-Knowledge of problem analysis methodologies (i.e. 8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why)

Location: Bedwas, Caerphilly, Newport, Cardiff, Pontypridd and Surrounding Areas.
