A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to join a UK known manufacturer in the Birmingham Area.

With no day ever being the same the Quality Enigneer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead precision inspection tasks using portable measurement arms and 3D scanning software, with additional support for CMM systems across sites.
  • Interpret product manufacturing data to create effective measurement and reporting strategies based on geometric tolerancing.
  • Resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions across the site.
  • Produce detailed inspection reports and contribute to the development of quality standards.
  • Support design and process improvements.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Solid background in quality assurance, inspection, or metrology within a manufacturing setting.
  • Confident using FARO arms with Polyworks and ideally experienced with QCT CMM systems (or similar transferable skills).
  • Strong grasp of GD&T, datum structures, and interpreting PMI data for reporting.
  • Broad understanding of manufacturing methods and their associated inspection needs.
