Job summary

Redline Group Ltd in Bournemouth is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to join an established engineering and manufacturing business. The role concentrates on product and process quality, supplier quality, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers and engineering teams to resolve quality issues, conduct audits, support ISO 9001, and drive supplier performance and NPI projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quality, Engineering or related technical subject or relevant industry experience.
• Experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of RCA, NPI and supplier quality.
• At least 6 months' relevant manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive Supplier Quality Improvement activities.
• Investigate and resolve non-conformances using Root Cause Analysis.
• Support manufacturing with product and process quality issues.
• Conduct internal, supplier and process audits.
• Support ISO 9001 compliance and promote a strong quality culture.
• Manage NCR, corrective and preventive actions.
• Support NPI projects and customer PPAP submissions.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce the cost of poor quality.
• Monitor and improve supplier performance.

Salary: £45,000 +Bens

We are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join an established engineering and manufacturing business in Bournemouth.

This is a hands-on role focused on Product & Process Quality, Supplier Quality, Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement. You'll work closely with manufacturing, suppliers and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.

About You

• A Degree, HNC, NVQ or equivalent in Quality, Engineering or a related technical subject, or relevant industry experience.
• Experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, NPI and Supplier Quality.
• At least 6 months' relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good Microsoft Office/computer skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel when required.
