Job summary

Octagon Group in Andover is seeking a Quality Engineer to own product quality, continuous improvement and compliance in a high‑tech manufacturing setting with a focus on ISO 7 cleanroom operations.

Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer, you will maintain the Quality Management System and work with Production, Process Engineering and other departments to promote a strong quality culture, including internal audits, CAPA and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 7 cleanroom procedures and documentation.
• Knowledge of internal audits, CAPA and problem solving methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Supporting compliance across AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 7 cleanroom standards.
• Developing and maintaining Quality Manufacturing Plans and PFMEAs.
• Supporting the development and review of cleanroom procedures, SOPs and assembly instructions.
• Conducting internal audits, quality spot checks and inspections across production.
• Leading investigations into product quality issues, including containment, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Using problem solving methodologies including 8D, CAPA and 5 Whys.
• Monitoring cleanroom performance and ensuring personnel adhere to cleanroom procedures and best practice.

NEW QUALITY ENGINEER IN ANDOVER.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to take ownership of product quality, continuous improvement and quality compliance within a high technology manufacturing environment, with a particular focus on ISO 7 cleanroom operations.

Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing the company's Quality Management Systems whilst working closely with Production, Process Engineering and other departments to promote a strong quality culture.
