Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Quality Engineer with a supplier focus for a rapidly growing manufacturer in Andover, Hampshire. You will be the main contact for suppliers, managing issues, returns and audits, and driving quality improvements across two sites.

The role offers industry training, including potential Lead Auditor qualifications, and exposure to ISO 9001, 13485 and AS 9100 with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience dealing with suppliers.
• Ability to conduct supplier audits and drive CAPA.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and AS 9100 or willingness to train.

Are you a Quality Engineer looking to further your career in a rapidly growing manufacturer, who will tailor their training plans to increase your quality toolbox through external courses, allowing you to be the main point of contact for supplier issues?

Are you looking to drive the future success of a company with a great reputation in their industry, improving processes and implementing your knowledge across two sites?

In this role you will be the main point of contact suppliers, handling any concerns, complaints, returns and general questions on specialist engineering components. You will be conducting supplier audits whilst working to ISO 9001, 13485 and AS 9100, within a close-knit team.

Founded nearly 40 years ago, this manufacturer supplies their specialist products into industries such as aerospace, automotive, and medical, with trusted clients across the globe. They have experienced unprecedented growth over recent years and have a clear direction for the future with a new site opened recently.

This role would suit a Quality Engineer who has dealt with suppliers, looking for a varied role with new challenges every day, working with cutting edge technology with full industry training on niche products.

The Role:

• Handling supplier issues, returns, and conducting audits
• Full industry training within specialist engineered components
• Further training courses given such as Lead Auditor
• Working to ISO 9001, 13485, and AS 9100, with training given if needed
• Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 5pm, finish at 3:30pm on Friday
