Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in quality roles with ISO 9001, AS9100 and NADCAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• The Quality Engineer will support the Compliance Manager to ensure quality and compliance systems operate effectively across the sites.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP quality standards.
• Review and approve relevant sections of Change Control documentation.
• Deliver compliance training and quality inductions when required.
• Attend SQDCP meetings and raise or escalate quality-related issues.
• Support departments in addressing non-conformances and implementing corrective actions.
• Assist with external audits.
• Conduct competency audits and monitor ongoing compliance.
• Investigate test failures and implement problem-solving techniques.
• Initiate specification reviews and maintain controlled specification records.

Position: Quality Engineer / Quality Technician

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 08:00am till 4:30pm, Friday 08:00am till 2:00pm

Salary: £30,000 to £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits

Requirements

• Previous experience within a Quality Role/Department, this could include Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, Quality Engineer, Compliance Engineer etc.
• Knowledge of Quality Standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100 & NADCAP etc
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
