Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment is seeking a Quality Engineer in Abingdon with a emphasis on manufacturing quality control and continuous improvement. The role reports to the quality function and interfaces with manufacturing operations, customers, and suppliers to ensure product quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a Quality Engineer, plus experience with CMM programming, inspection reporting, and training others.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quality Engineer.
• Ability to train employees in quality-related subjects.
• Ability to understand complex mechanical engineering drawings.
• Good project management skills with regular liaison between customers and suppliers.
• Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship (essential).
• Good knowledge of CMM programming with certification issued by the CMM manufacturer or agent.
• ISO 9000 Auditor qualification - desirable.

Responsibilities
