Job summary

DFS Group is seeking a Quality Co-ordinator to support audits, supplier performance and continuous improvement across our supplier base. You will work with Quality, ESG, Buying, Product and supplier teams to deliver projects and maintain high standards.

You'll develop towards an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification, with opportunities to travel to supplier sites. Strong Excel and data analysis, plus a proactive, independent work style and team collaboration are valued.

Qualifications

  • Experience in quality, compliance, supply chain, technical or co-ordination role.
  • Experience working with suppliers, customers or external partners.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within DFS.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating supplier audits and making sure information and documentation is completed on time.
  • Keeping supplier records, certificates and audit information accurate and up to date.
  • Working with suppliers and internal teams to support quality and improvement activities.
  • Helping to coordinate projects, track progress and make sure actions are followed up.
  • Reviewing quality, customer complaint and NPS information to identify trends and areas where we can improve.
  • Producing regular reports and sharing key findings with the relevant teams.
  • Supporting supplier performance reporting and helping teams understand how suppliers are performing.
  • Building positive working relationships with suppliers and colleagues across the business.
  • Supporting ESG activities by keeping information updated and following up on outstanding actions.
  • Supporting New Product Development by coordinating information, actions and project updates.
  • Keeping quality, product and compliance information organised and easy to access.
  • Supporting meetings by taking notes, recording actions and following up on agreed tasks.
  • Working closely with Quality, ESG, Buying, Product and supplier teams to help deliver projects successfully.

About the role

You’ll also have the opportunity to work towards anISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification, gain valuable quality experience and, depending on business needs, have opportunities totravel and work with suppliers in different locations.As a Quality Co-ordinator, you’ll play an important role in helping us maintain high standards across our suppliers, products and processes. You’ll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to support audits, quality projects, reporting and continuous improvement.Whether you’re already working in a quality environment or looking to take the next step in your career, we’re looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and the ambition to develop and progress within DFS.

What you’ll be responsible for
  • Coordinating supplier audits and making sure information and documentation is completed on time.

We’re looking for someone who has
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Drive and Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Experience with Power BI would be an advantageExperience in a quality, compliance, supply chain, technical or co-ordination role –but we’re also open to someone looking to take the next step in their career.
  • Experience working with suppliers, customers or external partners would be beneficial.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage several tasks and deadlines at once.
  • Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Confidence working with information, reports and data, with the ability to spot trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with different people.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership and follow things through.
  • The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Experience with audits, compliance or quality standards would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
  • An interest in developing a career within Quality, Compliance, Supply Chain or Product.
