Key Responsibilities

1. QA Process Management

  • Define and manage QA checklists across front-end, performance, and UX
  • Review functionality of apps, custom features, and third-party integrations
  • Validate content accuracy, including product data, navigation, and copy

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with developers to identify and reproduce bugs or performance issues
  • Liaise with designers to ensure pixel-perfect execution of Figma designs
  • Coordinate with project managers to align on QA timelines and launch readiness
  • Support training and documentation around QA best practices

3. Site Performance & Compliance

  • Run speed, accessibility, and SEO checks using tools like Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, and WAVE
  • Ensure sites meet WCAG accessibility standards and follow UX best practices
  • Maintain and evolve QA processes to match new Shopify features and client needs
  • Share learnings across the team and help embed quality throughout our delivery approach
  • Flag recurring issues or process breakdowns and propose improvements

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, ideally in a digital agency or eCommerce environment
  • Strong understanding of Shopify, including themes, apps, and front-end functionality
  • High attention to detail and a structured, thorough approach to testing
  • Ability to manage QA cycles across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Bonus Points

  • Experience working with Shopify Plus brands
  • Exposure to Agile delivery workflows
  • Experience testing international/multi-market stores and third-party integrations

  • Tight-knit team with a strong culture of ownership and accountability
  • Real impact on live projects and processes
  • London-based with flexible working options
