At Allied Vehicles we design, develop, and manufacture a wide range of specialist vehicles, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis, minibuses and mobility aids. In addition to manufacturing vehicles, we also offer a range of aftersales services (onsite and mobile), including servicing, repairs and maintenance and we are Scotland’s largest independent parts distributor.

We are now recruiting for a Quality Control Technician to join our Mobility Solutions team.
You will be responsible for the diagnosis, repairing and servicing of a range of mobility products and equipment including scooters, powerchairs, wheelchairs, rise recliner chairs, adjustable beds etc. This role will also include assessment and grading of used products in the above categories, and documenting & photographing these products before assigning them for resale, repair/service, stripping for parts or scrapping.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm and the salary is £12.91 per hour + bonus.

To be effective in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
A Driving licence is essential for this role.
Previous experience in mobility product / equipment repairs and maintenance would be advantageous but is not essential.
