Job summary

Cross+Morse is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join the team in Great Barr, Birmingham. The role involves inspecting mechanical engineered components, both manufactured and procured, and supporting the Quality Control Manager to uphold high standards.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with 33 days holiday and a pension scheme. You'll work in a long-established UK engineering environment, contributing to a skilled team with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Manufacturing Engineering qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent).
• Experience in manufacturing processes including turning, milling, gear cutting, broaching, welding, press tool work & assembly.
• Experience in a Quality Control environment.
• Excellent metrology skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

• 1st article pass-off / in-process inspection / final inspection & goods-in inspection of items received.
• Support the Technical & Quality Control Manager to maintain high standards.

Quality Control Inspector

This role is in the Quality Control department to undertake day to day inspection of Mechanical engineered components both Manufactured and procured, A long term role supporting the Technical & Quality Control Manager in maintaining the Companies high standards. Duties include: 1st Op Pass-Off / In-Process Inspection / Final Inspection & Goods-In Inspection of Items received.
