Job summary

TWC Home Improvements, Swindon Installation Depot, is seeking a Quality Control Operative to ensure products and orders meet required standards before dispatch or installation.

The role involves inspecting products, checking measurements and workmanship, maintaining QC records and reporting defects. 32 hours per week with flexible days and hours, £12.71 per hour, at our Swindon depot.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting products for quality, accuracy and damage.
• Check measurements, materials and workmanship against job specs.
• Ensure completed orders are correct and complete.
• Identify, record and report defects or inconsistencies.
• Prevent dispatch of unsuitable/non-conforming products.
• Ensure issues are corrected before approval.
• Carry out final quality-control checks before dispatch.
• Maintain clear quality-control records.
• Communicate quality concerns to the relevant manager or department.
• Follow company procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Help maintain a safe, organised and efficient working environment.
