Job summary

TWC Home Improvements seeks a reliable Quality Control Operative at our Swindon Installation Depot. You will inspect products and orders to ensure they meet standards before dispatch or installation, checking measurements and workmanship against job specs. The role requires accuracy, independence and clear communication with the team.

We offer flexible 32-hour weeks with pay of £12.71 per hour. Previous QC or hands-on experience in windows/doors or warehousing is beneficial, with full training

Responsibilities

• Inspect products and orders for quality, accuracy and damage.
• Check measurements, materials and workmanship against specs.
• Ensure orders are correct and complete before dispatch or installation.
• Identify, record and report defects or inconsistencies.
• Prevent non-conforming products from dispatch.
• Ensure issues are corrected before approval.
• Perform final quality-control checks before dispatch.
• Maintain clear quality-control records.
• Communicate quality concerns to the relevant manager.
