Job summary

OA Group is seeking a Quality Control Operative based in Buntingford. The role involves inspecting the production line, performing visual and dimensional checks to meet quality specifications, and supporting a safe working environment.

Ideal candidates have QC experience, a forklift license and driving licence for duties, hands-on experience with hand and power tools, and solid computer skills. Full-time hours and a competitive hourly rate are on offer.

Role: Quality Control Operative

Location: Buntingford

Hours: Full time

Salary: £14.50-£15.00ph

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Quality Control Operative to join our clients successful team.

Duties of a Quality Control Operative:

• Inspection of Production line and area - ensuring that visual and physical checks are completed and met to quality specs
• Manual handling - moving and lifting materials into position safely as part of the process
• Measuring and testing - using tools and gauges to verify dimensions
• Defect identification - spot out damages and inconsistencies - report immediately
• Following strict health and safety

What we would like from you:

• Previous QC experience
• Forklift (counterbalance) license and driving license for duties of the role
• Previous use of hand tools and power tools
• Hands on and manual work
• Computer skills and background
