Job summary

Osborne Appointments are recruiting a Quality Control Operative for a client site in Buntingford. The role is full-time, on-site, with day-to-day quality checks on the production line.

You will inspect, measure, and report defects, handle materials safely, and operate hand and power tools. A forklift license and driving license are preferred, along with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Role: Quality Control Operative

Location: Buntingford

Hours: Full time

Salary: £14.50-£15.00ph

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Quality Control Operative to join our clients successful team.

Duties of a Quality Control Operative:

• Inspection of Production line and area - ensuring that visual and physical checks are completed and met to quality specs
• Manual handling - moving and lifting materials into position safely as part of the process
• Measuring and testing - using tools and gauges to verify dimensions
• Defect identification - spot out damages and inconsistencies - report immediately
• Following strict health and safety

What we would like from you:

• Previous QC experience
• Forklift (counterbalance) license and driving license for duties of the role
