Job summary

Quality Control Manager NMB Minebea UK (Lincoln) leads a 30+ engineers and inspectors team, ensuring aerospace regulatory compliance, safety, and on-time delivery.

You will embed world-class manufacturing discipline, drive NCR reductions, and champion continuous improvement through data reporting and root-cause analysis on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a large quality function in a regulated environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Hands-on leadership with visibility across shop floor.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards (AS9100, AS9102, NADCAP).
• Experience with machining processes and NDT.

ensure every area understands its role in quality assurance, quality control, and compliance deliverables Performing training gap analysis across all quality functions and establishing clear strategies to upskill the team Maintaining a hands-on, visible presence on the shop floor and across the business Ensuring full company compliance with aerospace QMS procedures (ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP, etc.) Supporting inspectors in driving best-practice inspection methods Leading root-cause analysis investigations using proven problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and 5 Why Ensuring compliance with First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102 Overseeing company-wide environmental compliance procedures to ISO 14001 Driving reduction of non-conformances, timely resolution of manufacturing/production issues, and effective continuous improvement through regular reporting on NCRs, KPIs, customer issues, shop-floor deviations/concessions, and supplier performance As the Quality Control Manager you will
