Job summary

AVARA FOODS LIMITED in Caistor, North Lincolnshire, is seeking an experienced Quality Auditor to ensure product quality, safety and integrity across production in our fast-paced FMCG factory environment.

The role includes checking ingredients, taking samples, calibrating equipment, recording data, and supporting GMP and external audits. A proactive team player with attention to detail is essential; production experience is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Check and control ingredients, packing and products against customer specifications.
• Take samples and perform quality checks on products.
• Ensure machinery and equipment is calibrated to correct levels.
• Accurately record data and upload to the quality system.
• CCP validation and GMP audits.
• Escalate adverse findings to Process Leaders and Managers.
• Support external audits.
• Support QA Team Leader and QA Manager.

Do you want to earn a minimum of £15.09 per hour? We're looking for an experienced Quality Auditor to join our team at our site in Caistor, North Lincolnshire., As a Quality Auditor you'll be ensuring product quality, safety and integrity across production. So you'll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.

• Checking and controlling ingredients, packing and products against customer specifications.
• Taking samples and carrying our quality checks on products.
• Ensuring machinery and equipment is calibrated to the correct levels.
• Accurately recording data and uploading to the quality system.
• CCP Validation and GMP audits.
• Escalating adverse findings to Process Leaders and Managers.
• Supporting with external audits.
• Supporting the QA Team Leader and QA Manager. Good level of English and basic numeracy skills. The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively. Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks. Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential. • £15.09 per hour
• Additional £2.00 per hour shift allowance for weekend hours.

Working Hours We have 2 positions available on the following shift patterns Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:00 Monday - Friday 09:00 - 18:00
