Harrods in Knightsbridge seeks a Quality Assurance Technician to ensure the quality and safety of fresh products from receipt to end user. You will monitor quality, temperature, and hygiene, logging documentation and coordinating with the Food Safety team.

The role supports a hybrid work model with on-site presence and occasional home working, depending on business needs. 37.5 hours per week, with varied early shifts from 6:00am to 8:00am start times and finish between 2:00pm and 4:00pm.

Qualifications

• Food Hygiene Level 2 training is essential (preferred but not mandatory)
• Proficiency in Word and Excel
• Strong focus on customer service and quality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Responsabilités

• Verify products arriving at back door are from approved vendors and meet specifications
• Monitor temperature and hygiene, maintain records of temperature control during transit
• Inspect products against specifications and document quality concerns for supplier follow-up
• Support RTV processes and pest-control actions, close out actions with the Food Safety team
• Carry out regular fridge/freezer checks and ensure shelf life compliance
