Job summary

Harrods in Knightsbridge is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join the Food and Safety team. You will ensure the quality and safety of fresh products from reception to end user, with a 37.5-hour week and shifts between 6:00am–8:00am start and 2:00pm–4:00pm finish.

Roles may be on-site or hybrid depending on business needs. Reporting to the Food Safety Manager, you will monitor product quality, manage rejections, and liaise with technologists and internal teams to ensure compliance with

Qualifications

• Food Hygiene Level 2 training is essential for ensuring food safety standards.
• Proficient in Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.
• Strong customer service focus with clear, effective communication.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration with teams.

Responsibilities

• Verify products arriving at the back door are from approved vendors and meet specifications.
• Monitor temperature and hygiene; maintain records of temperature control during transit.
• Inspect deliveries and complete documentation; escalate quality concerns as needed.
• Support RTV processes and follow up actions from pest control, audits and floor walks.
