Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Knaresborough, UK (A1 access, commutable from North Leeds, Harrogate, Wetherby, Bradford)

Type of Job: Permanent, rotating days, no nights

Reporting to: Quality Manager

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain site packing standards and product quality through line checks
• Investigate customer complaints and quality incidents, liaising with operations and engineering
• Conduct management system audits and internal food safety inspections
• Monitor and control production processes, ensuring conformity
• Support external audits and site traceability exercises

Role Requirements:

• Graduate with knowledge of food legislation and safety principles
• Good communication skills, computer literate (especially Google Suite)
• Experience in Food, FMCG, or related manufacturing environment
• Internal audit training and Food Safety Level 2 (preferred)
• Attention to detail, proactive attitude, team player
• HACCP or similar food safety qualification (preferred)
